Pantelimon Gymnasium School No. 1

Pantelimon Gymnasium School No. 1, has 2 recently rehabilitated premises, two gyms and an effective of 1886 students in primary and secondary education and 86 students in the national program "Second Chance".

The qualified teaching staff has 80 employees with qualifications ranging from high school to university and postgraduate degrees, covering all specialties required for compulsory education.

The school’s projects are focused on students with learning difficulties and their relationship with the school environment, coming from disadvantaged backgrounds and which aims to improve school results and attendance in order to promote school development and progress.

Gymnasium School no. 4 Buftea, structure of the Gymnasium School no. 3 Buftea

Gymnasium School Nr. 4 is located in the Buciumeni neighborhood. In the 2019/2020 school year, there are 51 preschoolers, 184 students, 19 teachers, 5 non-teaching staff.

Our motto is „A well-done social education can always take out of a soul, whatever it may be, the useful part it contains.”

The conditions for carrying out the instructive-educational process are optimal. The unit has qualified teaching staff in all educational disciplines. There is a computer lab connected to the internet, a library, a reading room, a doctor’s office, a gym and a semi-furnished sports field. Students are involved in the activities of theater circles and folk dances.

Gymnasium School Nr. 1 Tunari

Tunari Gymnasium School no. 1 has as main field of activity the education of students, the development of extracurricular activities and a series of activities meant to ensure the inclusion of all students. In our school, a number of 35 teachers, a number of 505 preschoolers and students work. The school activity is carried out in three moderated bodies with spacious classrooms, laboratories, offices, chancelleries, Documentation and Information Center and a Psycho-Pedagogical Assistance Office.

The school’s projects are aimed to increase the self-esteem of Roma children, to overcome the complex of being Roma and to promote Roma culture through its activities.

Gymnasium School Nr. 3 Sintești-Vidra, structure of the Gymnasium School Nr. 2 Cretești-Vidra

Gymnasium School no. 2 Crețești, located near the city of Bucharest, at a distance of 18 km, opened its doors to students and teachers on the 15th of September 1969, and Structure no. 3 Sintesti, a school in the village of Sintești, started operating in 1967, in its current form, until 1967 being a single building, Corps B – primary education.

Gymnasium school no. 3 Sintești is a structure of School no. 2 Crețești, located in Sintești village, Vidra commune and offers education to the school population from preschool to gymnasium level. The establishment of the school appeared as a necessity given by the rapid development of the community.

Sintesti Secondary School no. 3 stood out in the institutional-educational landscape through the quality of work, fairness, seriousness, partnership relation and school performances. The school offers education for both Roma students (45%) and non-Roma students (55%).

„Cezar Nicolau” Technological High School

The high school has a number of 784 students, of which 510 are between 14 and 19 years old and 274 are over 19 years old. 35% come from urban areas (Pantelimon), 65% from rural areas (Brănești, Găneasa, Fundeni, Sohatu, Gurbănești, Botoroaga, etc.), 25% come from families with a precarious financial situation and from single-parent families, 28% live in the high school boarding school, 30 % are commuters, 90% have parents with secondary education, and 1.8% students with SEN. At the school level, there is a great vulnerability regarding school dropout and social exclusion.
